DDEX for Developers

Before implementing a DDEX standard you will need to acquire a free standard implementation licence. More information about the DDEX Implementation Licence is available here. When you receive the implementation licence you will also be given a DDEX Party Identifier. It is this DPID that uniquely identifies each sender and receiver of a DDEX formatted message.

DDEX recommends that you review the supporting documentation before implementing any of the standards. These provide explanations about the standards and include a wealth of information about how to implement the standards, derived from existing implementers' experiences. The standards documentation and their associated XML Schemas can be found here.
